VENDORS

Becoming a festival vendor is a great opportunity to raise awareness about your business and increase sales. If you have been a vendor in previous years, please note that changes have been made to vendor opportunities. Please read the following terms and conditions before submitting your application. Please also allow 24-48 hours Monday-Friday for your application to be reviewed for additional information.

Vendor Fees

Food Vendors: $250

There is not a discounted fee for nonprofit organizations at this time.

Full payment for vendor space must be received within 7 days of being invoiced.

Non-Food Vendors: $75 until February 29, 2024

$150 on March 1, 2024

Your Vendor Booth:

(1) 10 x 10 designated vendor space for non-food vendors

Please note that tables and chairs are not provided. If you need information on companies that rent tables and chairs, please contact us at easternshorejuneteenth@gmail.com.

Covid-19 Policy:

By attending a public event, such as this festival, you are acknowledging that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. By attending this festival, you and any guest/staff/workers voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold Eastern Shore Juneteenth, City of Salisbury, or any of the affiliates, employees, agents, contractors, or volunteers liable for any illness or injury by attending this event.

Acceptance Policy:

Priority is given to Black-owned businesses and businesses that further the mission of Eastern Shore Juneteenth. Vendor acknowledges that this is a RAIN OR SHINE EVENT and no refunds will be processed for adverse weather conditions.

Load In & Out Instructions:

Load-In: Vendor load-in begins at 9:30 AM on Saturday, June 15, 2024. A volunteer will be present at the barricade on East Main Street to allow vendors to enter to unload. After unloading, please park your vehicle in one of the designated parking locations (Downtown Parking Garage, neighboring streets, etc.). In order to avoid congestion in the vendor areas, vendors will have 30 minutes to unload their vehicles. After relocating your vehicle to a parking location, you will have until 12:30 PM to set up your booth. There are no exceptions as the vendor area must be clear for the start of the parade.

Load-Out: Vendors must remain open the entire duration of the event. Event hours are from 1:00 PM-6:00 PM. Vendors may not load out prior to 6:00 PM. Any vendors in violation of this rule will not be invited back for future festivals.

Rules & Regulations:

  • The festival assigns vendor space only for the promotion and sale of products, information, and services specified in your application. Vendors promoting or selling any other products or services not listed on their application may be asked to remove them from their vendor space.

  • Food and beverage sales are prohibited for non-food vendors. 

  • Vendors are not permitted to exhibit or promote their products or services outside the boundaries of their assigned space.

  • Please keep in mind that this is a family-friendly event. Vendors should conduct themselves accordingly and exhibition content should be suitable for all ages.

  • In order to keep the festival accessible to our friends with disabilities, at no time should the property or belongings of vendors be on the sidewalks.

  • ALL garbage must be cleared from your vendor space prior to departing. Please do not leave any boxes.

  • Eastern Shore Juneteenth reserves the right to reject any application for any reason

First Aid:

The First Aid station will be staffed during all event hours. If you need assistance, please report to the First Aid station. If you have an emergency, please dial 911.

Lost & Found:

All returned lost and found articles will be held at The First Aid Tent.

Indemnity:

Neither Eastern Shore Juneteenth nor the City of Salisbury, nor any officers, agents, employees and other representatives shall be held accountable for, and the same are hereby released from, accountability or liability for any damage, loss, harm or injury to the person or any property of Vendor or any of its agents, employees or other representative, resulting from theft, fire, water, accident or any other cause. Vendor hereby agrees to indemnify, defend, protect and hold harmless Eastern Shore Juneteenth and the City of Salisbury.

Release:

Eastern Shore Juneteenth and/or partners may record, film, photograph, audiotape, or videotape vendor operations (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Works") and to display, publish, or distribute these Works for publishing/posting on the Eastern Shore Juneteenth website and social media sites.
